I am SK Shum. People call me Coach SK. I am a Certified Executive and Life Coach for many years and also a PhD candidate in Professional Coaching and Human Development. I have more than 20 years of training and coaching experience in banking and finance. My experience is just as unique as anybody in the coaching field. Some coaches have a background in psychology or psychotherapy; some were senior executives in the commercial sector. I believe the key to being an effective coach is passion and heart: a passion to help people rediscover happiness and satisfaction in life and a heart to be sincere and compassionate. It is such a fulfilling experience to see people reconnect with their dreams and desires again in a short while.
As a Certified Executive and Life Coach, I help my clients delve into their experience to obtain clarity about themselves and their work-life situations. I provide alternative perspective to my clients in their areas of blockage - whether they are self-limiting beliefs, unproductive thinking patterns, or difficulties with emotional reactivity. I lead them to a higher level of personal awareness and a greater momentum for success.
Successful living starts as an "inside job". Motivation and direction flow from aligning oneself with one’s core values and vision. I help my clients create action plans and accountability and, most important of all, I encourage them to stay focused.
